2013 has been a great year so far at Graffects. It’s all about convergence and synergy, with our scope now encompassing not only Motion Design, 3D, Live Action and Flash Character Animation but also increased App and Web Development, Rich Media and Brand Management. Continuing our relationship with Atlanta agency Lighthouse and Wolf Bros Post, we’ve completed a beautiful live action spot, shot on the RED Epic camera, composited with flash character animation, for DS Water in which a young boy interacts with fun, animated objects and animals all around him, relating to the benefits and affordability of bottled water. Q1 found us also developing some very energetic, lively and fun UpFront pieces for Lifetime Television and The Weather Channel, highlighting their exciting new and continuing lineups for the 2013 Fall season. We’ve also teamed up with Avatar Communications on the development and design of a Webpage and App backed by FEMA, that helps children deal with disasters they’ve experienced or have seen other kids go through disasters through media coverage, by way of a series of video vignettes of children all over the globe relating their stories, interactive games, exercises and learning tools we’re creating that help them understand and deal with natural disasters.

Our Digs

We're located in historic Inman Park, on the southeast
edge of Atlanta, in the Old Fourth Ward.
The historic, 44,000 sf building was once home to a
cotton warehouse and a Clorox factory. It was later a practice space to many local Atlanta musicians.
It now also houses Kevin Rathbun Steak and a handful of very creative, talented firms of all sorts.
